Teach Them Young／子供への教育

A child’s mind is like a blank book, and the parents have the ability to write what they want in it. That is why it is important that the right values and life lesson are taught at a young age so that they can stay even through adulthood.
Respect for others, hard work ethic and tolerance a big factor today.
For example, here in Japan, in elementary school kids do the cleaning chores. After class everyone cleans their classes and the toilets. They also take turns serving the food, learning in the process of sanitation and proper food processing.
It is important that parents show a good example to their kids while they are still young, and teach them right so that they can grow up and always have those values0

子供の心は何も書いてない本のようで、親たちはその何も書いていない本に、自分たちの思うままに内容を書くことができます。それが、子供の時から培ってきたことで、大人になっても大事なことや、親から受けた教訓などを忘れない理由です。

何事に対しても、他人のために苦労し、周りの人の役に立つことは尊敬される大きな要素です。

例えば、日本では小学生は、授業が終わった後みんなで教室の掃除やトイレ掃除をします。クラスメイトみんなで当番制で給食の準備をしたり、みんなに均等に給食が行き渡るように配慮することを学びます。

親が子供にとって良いお手本になり、そして、正しく成長させ、良い価値観を持たせてあげることはとても大事です。
