Honesty is the best Policy／正直者は素晴らしい。

Humans are far from bring perfect, and we all have our personal flaws. A lot of times we may
suppress our feelings or not express what we really think because we think it’s better or we don’t
want to hurt or make the other person uncomfortable. Sometimes it is also just to protect
ourselves.
The issue that might come with that is that by trying to avoid the problem, we might create a
bigger one.
The thing about a lie is that when it`s done once, another one has to be created to cover the first
one and so on until the truth finally come out.
“What is done in the dark will always come to the light” is an old saying that is still true. No matter
how long we run from the truth, sooner or later it will catch up to us.
That is why I believe that in most situations, honesty is the best policy.

誰しも完璧な存在ではなく、みんな欠点を持っています。

自分自身を保護するために、他人の機嫌を損ねない方がいいと思って、感情を押し殺したり、自分の考えを意見せずにやり過ごすことがあるかと思います。

しかし、トラブルを避けようとした行為が、むしろそのトラブルがもっと大きくなる可能性もあります。

一度嘘をついたら、その嘘をカバーする為にまた次の嘘ついてしまい、それがずっと続くのです。

「闇の中でやった事はいつも明らかになる」ということわざは間違いではなく、例え私たちが嘘や隠し事をしても結局すぐに、

あるいは後々バレるのです。

それが、私が正直者が最高であると信じる理由です。
